One can quite often see a Mistle Thrush in and around the Quarry but getting photos is harder so I thought I’d share this one taken on Saturday 4th May 2024
Thanks, Martin. Lovely photo as usual. It appears that the abandoned sett in our garden has been requisitioned by a couple of foxes who have managed to introduce four cubs to this world. Lovely to see them scampering about but, unfortunately, the people next door are feeding them and after just four days the adult foxes are sitting like dogs on our side of the hedge waiting to be fed. Of course, the cubs are taking their cue from the adults. I think they all had roast lamb on Sunday but they did have Mother’s milk for dessert!! Hope all’s well after the ‘dry’ weekend. Regards, Stephen.
